A lifelong artist and designer, Victoria’s (Vicki to friends and family) talents have garnered many awards and earned her notoriety through special exhibits throughout the Shoals area. Eager to learn as much as possible about the world of marketing and communications, she has also been a strong proponent of continual education, earning her Associate degree at Northwest Shoals Community College and her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from the University of North Alabama as an adult.

Vicki has worked with several area production and design firms over the years. In the summer of 2009, after much deliberation, she made the plunge into the design services field as VLA Designs, and immediately acquired clients from the art community, local non-profit organizations and local businesses. Vicki has also expanded her offerings to include public relations services, showing substantial successes with a number of clients, and more recently, a music promotions service which will cater to the talented musicians that they frequently intermingle with offering them songwriting services, bookings, live production, on-site studio services and they will also buy, sell and trade music equipment.

Vicki’s non-stop work ethic, her attention to detail and her ability to create strong personal relationships with her clients has made her an invaluable asset to those who have utilized her services over the years.

She can be quoted saying, “As far back as I can remember, I have been painting and drawing. So, design is the natural choice of career for me. I eat, drink and breathe art. I am fascinated by it. I am humbled by the fact that I get to earn a respectable living doing what I love. My strengths include a strong sense of effective design and communication skills, an insatiable thirst to learn everything I possibly can to keep myself current with what is out there today and an ability to visually conceptualize one’s ideas. I pride myself on being a problem solver – breaking communication barriers with intelligent design solutions is the most satisfying problem I have had to solve.”
